This privacy policy applies to the VetGo app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Nicolás Ansoleaga (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”) as a Commercial service. This service is intended for use “AS IS”.
VetGo is a practice management tool for veterinarians who provide in-home / mobile veterinary care. It has two types of users:
VetGo does not display advertising of any kind, to either veterinarians or clients.
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as:
VetGo requests access to location data specifically to support its core veterinary practice-management features:
Location data is only collected with your explicit consent, requested at the time the feature is used. You can allow precise location access, allow approximate location only, or disable location services entirely at any time through your device settings. If location access is denied, the features listed above will not be available, but the rest of the Application will continue to function normally.
The Application does not currently use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data or provide features. If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly before any such processing begins.
The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.
For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to email, name, age and sex. The information that the Service Provider requests will be retained by them and used as described in this privacy policy.

Mapping and Geocoding
The Application displays maps using OpenStreetMap-based map tiles, and uses Google’s Geocoding service to convert client addresses into map coordinates and locality/comuna information.
The Service Provider is not responsible for Google’s data handling practices.
WhatsApp and Communication Services
The Application uses third-party communication tools to enable communication between veterinarians and clients:
When using these communication features within VetGo, your data is handled by the respective service providers according to their own privacy policies. The Service Provider is not responsible for how these third-party services process your data.

The Application allows Veterinary professionals to manage client and patient data. The Veterinarian is the Data Controller for their clients’ information, and the Service Provider acts as a Data Processor.
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you’d like them to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at nicolasansoleaga@gmail.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.
Users have the right to request complete deletion of their personal data. You have two options:

You may delete your account and all associated data directly within the Application’s settings menu. This process is immediate and permanent.

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13, in accordance with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. The Service Provider encourages all children to never submit any personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services. The Service Provider encourages parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Application and/or Services, please contact the Service Provider (nicolasansoleaga@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
Separately, for users in the European Union, European Economic Area, or other jurisdictions where the applicable data protection law (such as the GDPR) sets a minimum age for a person to independently consent to data processing, you must be at least 16 years of age (or the minimum age set by your country’s law, which may be lower) to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information.
